Moving toward christmas with some early presents...

26 Nov 2006

Hi friends,

I trust that you are all doing well and moving toward the festive season with great enthusiasm and excitement. We sure are!!! The year has gone so quick and it is shortly time to take inventory of our achievements and look at areas where we can improve for 2007.

From our end there are some interesting up-dates. One of our Trainers, Anders Sorman-Nilsson, recently featured on both SBS National Radio on November 11 regarding Thinque and personal development and was asked to comment on how what we do is unique and different from other players in the field such as Tony Robbins. In our next blog we will feature a transcribed version of the interview.

Moreover, Anders was also interviewed by Lindy Byrnes from ABC Radio on November 15 in relation to his comments about Generation Y and the G 20 in Melbourne. Anders argued favourably for a more empowering world-view than many of the bin-touting and Starbucks smashing adolescents adhered to and referred to historic leaders such as Mother Theresa and Gandhi who always focussed their attentions on making sure that a positive outcome was brought about by positive actions. The comments were very well received and added to the constructive conversation about how we can best improve the situation of the global disenfranchised and make sure that innovation, technology and design can be used to lift their quality of living.

We are also proud to announce the implementation of a prize and a charitable contribution in the name of Thinque as part of our schools initiative and we will come back with more details when this is officially launched with a premier NSW/ACT school next week. We see this as an important step towards assisting ambitious youth in their personal development and nurturing of a positive communication and leadership culture within Australian schools.

Since we last spoke, we have presented to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce which was a great step forward for the Swedish Australian business community. The presentation was very well received and we were enthused to see so many Swedish young professionals and business men/women participate in this event. This is likely to be a regular feature both in Sydney and also nationally in 2007.

On the training and coaching front, we are continuously engaging in research and development and we have been spending countless hours on improving, re-fining and polishing our trainings for 2007 and you may expect an email shortly in your mailboxes with the official 2007 schedule that we will be proud to announce. It is our honour to be able to organise these and we are looking forward to brining you the latest technologies and profound communication and personal development methodologies this coming year. I just saw Borat and I think that emphasises the point that we can need some improvement in our communication to get our points across.

Until next blog,

One step ahead!

Anders
