Designing For Future Sustainability: Future of Work

Written by Anders | October 15, 2018

There is no future without sustainability

There is a saying that today's luxury is tomorrow's expectation. As a Futurist, I see today's luxury customer experience as a leading indicator of what we will all want tomorrow. Sustainability is sometimes thought of as being in this luxury category. It is sometimes thought of as expensive, even unaffordable. Just think of certain lobby groups' approaches to carbon emission trading schemes. But sustainability is not a luxury, it is a necessity. And in the long run, it is the much better option than the wasteful, short term thinking humans are often guilty of. In this interview with the CEO of WorkClub, Soren Trampedach, we do a deep dive into why designing and procuring sustainable materials for his office of the future is a core part of future thinking and why it is the more economically viable for options for organisations who engage in long range thinking.
