Today we have gotten used to the idea that technology will take over blue collar jobs. Many experts and futurists like me believe that the the development of driver-less cars and drones will have a huge impact on the global courier, transport and delivery industry to name a few. Amazon's project Prime Air and Google's Project Wing are among the two most recognized drone-delivery programs.
During the last two years there have also been a lot of discussion around wether or not robots/computers with artificial intelligence will take over white-collar jobs. What's maybe even more frightening (or fascinating depending on how you look at it) is the fact that today we have what's called creative robots which is robots that can write music, paint and even write poems, like the one Oscar Schwartz is talking about in this TED-talk.
In this talk Schwartz analyse why we react so heartily to the idea of computer-generated poetry. He argue that this reaction helps us understand our relationship with technology and what it means to be human.
